Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick on the state’s legalization of same-sex marriage, as he marched in Boston’s June 10 Pride parade, to The Associated Press.

Bush’s surgeon general nominee, Dr. James Holsinger, in a document he wrote in 1991 titled “Pathophysiology of Male Homosexuality.” According to ky.com, K-Y lubricant was created in 1917. According to The Joy of Gay Sex, “[P]roper lubrication and relaxation … will prevent pain or damage. [M]en have found pleasure in their assholes since the time of the cavemen.”
“I need a conservative candidate all the way who would say to a gay woman: ‘You know what? I’m very sorry for your children. I think it’s child abuse for you to raise children. And I don’t mean to insult you personally, but this is a large cultural issue. The society is collapsing. Marriage is a fragile institution and I think you’re making a mockery of it in this manner by doing this.’ That would have been the proper answer.”
Radio personality Michael Savage on the June 7 edition of his syndicated show in response to Romney’s remarks, according to Media Matters for America (tinyurl.com/2tpd85). “The Savage Nation” is America’s third-most-listened-to radio show.

Florida State Rep. D. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, who is a retired dentist, during a meeting with AIDS activists in his Tallahassee office June 13, according to the activists. Hays has denied making the statement. He is vice chair of the House of Representatives’ Health Quality Committee and a member of the House’s Healthcare Council.
“Instead of blaming the failure of her book on her awful appearance on the Oprah Show … appearing in an inappropriate and ill-fitting ballgown with a plunging neckline or blaming the fact that her book is poorly written or dull … or blaming … the unbelievable assertion that she did not know her husband was gay, or blaming the assertion that the plaintiff was a ‘bisexual’ when he clearly announced he was a ‘Gay American,’ she blames the plaintiff.”
Former New Jersey Gov. James McGreevey (the plaintiff) in a letter about his wife sent to the judge handling their divorce case, June 13. Dina Matos McGreevey has said her husband’s allegations that she is a homophobe have hurt sales of her new memoir.
