A portrayal of Jane Austen in her early 20s, Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada) stars in this romantic drama. The film focuses on Austen’s relationship with the Irishman Tom Lefroy, played by James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland), and encourages fans of Austin to think about Lefroy’s influence on her literary work.
