The Break Up Notebook: The Lesbian Musical: San Diego’s award-winning Diversionary Theatre presents its first production of the 2007-2008 season, The Break Up Notebook: The Lesbian Musical. The show, based on Patricia Cotter’s hit play of the same name, is “for anyone and everyone who has ever had a broken heart and lived to tell about it.” The musical tells the story of Helen Hill, a 33-year-old lesbian who has recently been dumped. She is heartbroken, stunned, and determined to go out there and do it all over again. What follows is a buffet of bad dates and everything they entail. Tickets range from $31-35, and the show runs through Aug. 12. Diversionary Theater is located at 4545 Park Blvd., #101, in University Heights.
