Bill Stanhope became a realtor more than 12 years ago after being dissatisfied with the service that he received when buying his first home.

“I wanted to provide clients the things that were not provided to me such as excellent service and great price,” said Stanhope, who is the founder of Best Real Estate.

“I have always shown them everything that they wanted to see, negotiated the best price and terms for them and I am confident that I have provided excellent service.”

In addition, Stanhope said that he is willing to share half of his commission with buyers to help with their purchases and has discounted commissions to save sellers thousands of dollars, something that his realtor did not do.

When not working, Stanhope likes to stay physically active and spend time with friends and family.

He also enjoys volunteering for various organizations in the GLBT community and for causes that promote a sustainable environment, peace, justice, equality and freedom for all people.

“I am an honest hard working person who cares about others and who does what I can to serve them well.”

Among the many organizations in which he is involved, Stanhope serves as the outreach chair of the San Diego chapter of The Network of Spiritual Progressives.

“It is an organization, which is committed to show our nation that homophobic right-wing zealots do not hold a monopoly on religion,” he explained.

Stanhope, who supports Democratic candidates who share his beliefs and who support GLBT issues, also serves as the district coordinator for the campaign to put Al Gore on the ballot.
