Rather than offering advice on health and exercise, try to receive it as graciously as you can. Your colleagues probably need more space than help, but be available at a safe distance just in case they ask.

April 20 – May 20

Hobbies and sports seem more aggravation than solace, and everything wrong is screaming in your face. There’s always room for improvement. Be calm and constructive, listing the improvements to make when you’re feeling more balanced.

May 21 – June 20

If you really want to play hostess, especially in a family gathering, you’ll be inviting all kinds of hassles. Thinking about home decoration will help you purge all the worst ideas that you would regret if you acted on them now.

June 21 – July 22

Communications with family and tribe are invitations to arguments, despite your best efforts. Write those letters to your parents that are better burned than mailed. Nobody but your therapist needs to know what’s in them.

July 23 – August 22

Avoid money and finances like the plague. Shop as little as possible. Paying debts is good, but don’t rob Peter to pay Paul. Ignore the extravagance of others, and refuse to try keeping up; just focus on your own economy.

August 23 – September 22

If you’re feeling ugly and worthless, it’s just a bad mood that will pass. Attempts at retail therapy will only make you feel older. Making a list of your virtues, passions, and accomplishments will prove much more restorative.

September 23 – October 22

Take some time out with your oldest girlfriend – the one with the most birthdays behind her. She’ll drive you crazy, but if you’re nice and indulgent, you’ll learn a lot about yourself!

October 23 – November 21

Doing some charity or community work can help you get a clearer idea of your own values and future. Keeping your ego out of it and just being of service is the challenge from which you’ll most benefit.

November 22 – December 20

The political side of work is necessary, but trying too hard comes off as brown-nosing. Trying at all is probably trying too hard. Be aware of the situation, and just let your natural charm and affability shine through.

December 21 – January 19

Frustration and wanderlust can distract you from your goals. Let them! Take time to enjoy some exotic, preferably older (i.e., traditional or classical) cultural activities, say, a gallery or a concert. Some insights and refreshment can put you back on track.

January 20 – February 18

Feeling your age need not be a bad thing. Maturity looks especially sexy on you right now. When looking for love (or a passionate facsimile), a difference of 10 years or more in either direction will prove a terrific adventure!

February 19 – March 19

Imagining yourself getting old and gray with your one true love will enhance your sex appeal – whether you have one true love or not. Resist the urge to offer supportive criticism. It will be taken more as criticism than support.
