What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
There are so many. Mexican food – I love anything in Barrio Logan. Dim Sum – Jasmine. Vietnamese – Saigon. Around the corner – Dao Son, Lefty’s Pizza and Mama’s Bakery.
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
Anything from Oceanaire. The whole Red Snapper is to die for! I love the encrusted brie with garlic bulb at Kemo Sabe. The gnocchi at Mama Mia in Pacific Beach is delicious!
How often do you cook at home?
All the time… Love it!
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Sicilian-style pizza
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
I like to cook with others for sure. Food is a party!
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer.
The three “S’s” – salmon, salsa and spaghetti sauce
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
The three “J’s” – Jesus (so he could help out), Julia Child (she could teach me a thing or two) and Jamie Oliver – the Naked Chef (because he is adorable!)
