In 1980, Patrick Chapman moved to San Diego and started working in the mailing business. Nearly 20 years later, he founded his own business, Accurate Printing & Mailing (APM), a full-service direct mail marketing company.

APM provides “A-to-Z” Services: targeted mailing lists; data processing; copy and graphics; printing; mail processing and delivery.

APM has a competitive advantage. Chapman says it comes simply from experience and service: “I freely share ideas, and serve as project manager, so my clients reap the best possible results, as quickly and affordably as possible.

APM has successfully managed tens of millions of direct mail messages in various formats of postcards, newsletters, flyers, laser letters, catalogs etc., usually in modest quantities of 5,000 to 10,000 per mail drop, says Chapman.

Another advantage is APM’s cost effectiveness while improving project results.

“I help people who mail often improve their results, and I am glad to work with new people to determine how cost effective direct mail could be,” says Chapman. APM also provides free initial consultation.

Outside his work at APM, Chapman gives presentations and lectures at industry events, college marketing classes and postal forums. For more than 15 years, Chapman has been a member of the Greater San Diego Business Association and the San Diego Direct Marketing Association. When not working, Patrick spends his time exercising, golfing, or winning at duplicate bridge. Chapman says he’s an “expert” at the game.
