What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
Usually Jack in the Box
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
The prime rib-eye from Rainwater’s on Kettner Street
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Carne asada and grilled shrimp. I’m a bit of a carnivore.
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
Keep it Irish; meet and potatoes, beef stew, corn beef hash… and some Tex Mex if I get my way. For dessert, I try to keep it light and healthy, if I do dessert at all.
What is your favorite condiment?
Its not exactly a condiment, but I tend to put it on most EVERYTHING. It’s Tony Chachere’s Cajun Seasoning… so much better than ketchup!
If you could be any food, what food would you be and why?
I would probably be a New York strip – meaty but elegant and titillating to the taste buds. Enjoy the alliteration.
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer:
Sharp cheddar cheese, 18-count carton of eggs, and hmm… a wide variety of dead animals!
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
Hunter S. Thompson, Bill Clinton (Hillary can stay home!), and Denis Leary
