Sapphic Cinema: The Women’s Resource Center at The Center presents Sapphic Cinema! The event, held on the fourth Friday of each month, screens films for, by and about LBT women for free! All women are invited to attend alone or with a date. This month’s film is titled Imagine Me and You and tells the story of Heck and Rachel, a happy young couple about to embark on life together. At the church, Rachel catches the eye of an unexpected guest and in that moment, she realizes that maybe Heck isn’t the one for her. What follows is the romantic, humorous and sometimes poignant journey familiar to anyone who’s ever been lucky (or unlucky) enough to fall under love’s spell. The Center is located at 3909 Centre St. in Hillcrest. 619-692-2077, ext. 212, www.thecentersd.org
