Ponce’s on Adams Avenue in Kensington
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
I love the carne asada plate at Ponce’s, with flour tortillas. Its beans are the best in SD, though not recommended for vegetarians. I did hear from the owner that the restaurant is in the process of creating a vegetarian menu!
What is your favorite lunch spot?
Mama’s Bakery on Alabama Street
How often do you cook at home?
Two to three times a week
Do you prefer cooking with others or banish all human life from your kitchen?
Help with prep work is OK, but when the cooking starts, get out of my kitchen.

Half and half, organic peanut butter and olive oil
Name three people, living or dead, that you’d most like to invite for dinner?
Gertrude Stein, Sappho and M. Ghandi
