Mike Zimmerman has been working in construction since he could swing a hammer. The home improvement, remodeling and construction guru started working in construction at a young age. A native Californian, raised in San Diego and a graduate of University City High School, Zimmerman started his career in home improvement work in 1991. He grew his business to include remodeling and construction.

“What makes Gladys Design unique is attention to detail,” Zimmerman said.

Gladys Design specializes in bath and kitchen remodels, home additions, architectural services and new construction.

In addition to his work as a licensed contractor, Zimmerman is an active member of the community. He has served on the board of the Gay Men’s Spiritual Retreat for eight years, and is also on the board of the Live and Let Live Alano Club.
