Community involvement includes numerous charity fund-raisers through the store for various community organizations, most recently Mama’s Kitchen
What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
When my partner and I have time to sneak away from the store we usually head either right to The Mission or to see David at Einstein’s in Hillcrest! Our new favorite place is Vo’s Vietnamese on University Avenue, just across from our store.

Braised short ribs at Bite in Hillcrest
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Filet with a mushroom and onion sauce just like mother never made
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
To tell the truth, my partner is the real cook in the house. I am the king of making the table look fabulous with platters and fresh flowers!
What would your death row meal be?
It would have to be a rack of ribs from Phil’s BBQ!
