Local religious leaders debate same-sex marriage at council forum
The next forum on same-sex marriage and Proposition 8 hosted by the Ecumenical Council of San Diego County will be held Oct. 13 at the La Mesa United Church of Christ, located at 5940 Kelton Ave. in La Mesa. The Ecumenical Council will host its final forum on same-sex marriage and Proposition 8 on Oct. 26 at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, located at 16889 Espola Rd. in Poway.

Delta Lambda Phi begins fall rush
Delta Lambda Phi, a national social fraternity for gay, bisexual and progressive men, is beginning its fall 2008 rush process.
Rush activities for the San Diego chapter will continue through Monday, Oct. 6. Rush events will be held at various locations near SDSU, UCSD and in Hillcrest.
