Park Manor Suites has been in business since 1926. “In the past five years, we have done more than $3 million in renovations – our guest suites, restaurants, Top of the Park, two new elevators, and public areas,” said Ed Delehanty, director of sales & marketing.
“Our next project, that we are very excited about, is the renovation of our hotel lobby, to begin this winter,” he said.

The boutique hotel, which is composed of all suites, has many unique qualities, including its history, a famous Friday night happy hour and two restaurants. The Top of the Park includes indoor and outdoor dining, with panoramic views of San Diego and serves lunch Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Inn at the Park, on the lower level, serves dinner seven nights a week, with nightly entertainment.
“Many San Diegans have taken advantage of our Getaway Package: wine or champagne upon arrival, a romantic night in one of our studio suites and dinner for two at the Inn at the Park,” Delehanty said. “We are grateful that so many guests return on a regular basis.”
Delehanty began his career with Embassy Suites Hotels and graduated from its hotel management program.
He moved to San Diego in 1992 and began working at Park Manor Suites.
In 1993 Delehanty joined the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) and has been active ever since. He is also a member of the Greater San Diego Business Association.
“The business and networking through these organizations, and many more, has taught me so much,” he said.
