More than 16,000 people hit the streets of Hillcrest on Sept. 28 to participate in AIDS Walk San Diego 2008. While final numbers are still being tallied, this year’s event has been called the largest AIDS Walk SD in seven years, according to organizers. So far more than $600,000 has been raised to benefit local HIV/AIDS nonprofits. Kudos to everyone who participated!
