What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
Hawthorn’s
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
Gorgonzola Cream with pecans sauce over pasta at Apertivo in North Park. You have to be careful, though, because I am sure there are 1,000 calories in it.
How often do you cook at home?
I cook almost every day at home. I love it. I get to shop for fresh food almost daily, cook for my bride and enjoy our lovely home.
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Well, my wife loves my macadamia nut encrusted salmon – and it’s easy!
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
I really prefer to cook alone, but I am growing to learn to share with my wife and allow her to contribute when I need help.
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
Keep it healthy!
What is your favorite condiment?
Lately it’s been an oven roasted tomato relish I make
If you were any food, what food would you be and why?
I’d be a nice Cabernet Sauvignon because it’s smooth, full bodied and makes you feel good!
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer:
Low sodium soy sauce, lemons and Ken’s Italian Salad dressing
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
Vita Sackville West (she could really seduce women and she could write), Bill Clinton (he really CAN’T seduce women but he is smart), and my first father, Colgate (he was gay and died when I was five … I want to share a few things with him).
