Heather Philpott is a licensed general contractor who has been in the business for nearly 20 years.
“When I got my license back in 1989, I went to work for my father who was a developer in Riverside County,” Philpott said, noting since then she has built quite a passion for the work she does. “I take pride in my honesty and integrity and will bend over backwards to ensure that my clients are happy.”
Philpott’s two decades in the trade has led her to specialize in all aspects of home and business repair, remodel, additions and improvements.
“What sets me apart from other contractors is that I am your one stop for all your construction needs. I provide professional work in a number of areas, from concrete and framing to electrical and plumbing,” she said.
As a transgender member of the community, Philpott said she is perfectly suited to take care of all the GLBT community’s diverse contracting needs.
Beyond being a home improvement specialist, Philpott is affiliated with Stepping Stone and attends Sunday services at the Universal Spirit Center. The 40-year-old – who doesn’t look a day over 37 – is a widowed single parent of three boys. She balances a rigorous schedule of work and home life by taking time to enjoy outdoor activities and running. Philpott said she is excited to have recently got back into the gym on a regular basis.
“I just love San Diego’s local community and look forward to broadening my network of satisfied clients,” she said.
