Outings: Martinis Above Fourth Wreath Auction
Published Thursday, 11-Dec-2008 in issue 1094
The Martinis Above Fourth fifth annual Wreath Auction raised more than $20,000 for the Queen Eddie Conlon Youth Fund, started by the Imperial Court and administered by The San Diego LGBT Community Center. The money raised goes to support GLBT youth, which Conlon firmly believed are our future. The youth fund helps GLBT youth purchase education-related expenses, books, supplies and clothing. The owners of Martinis Above Fourth – Dale Dubach, Chaz Weathers and Johnny Osgood – were honored for their commitment to raising money for the fund by Mayor Jerry Sanders and newly sworn-in Councilmen Todd Gloria and Carl DeMaio. The annual Wreath Auction has raised more than $80,000 for the youth fund in five years.
