What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
The Prado in Balboa Park
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
The Butter Burger at Crest Café
How often do you cook at home?
About five times a week
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Marinated, butter flied, and grilled Leg of Lamb. It’s an old recipe my mother gave me.
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
I enjoy both equally. It’s fun to cook with friends and I love to create things on my own too.
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
I mostly keep it healthy. Poached salmon and a salad equal heaven.
What is your favorite condiment?
Salt. Friends say I use too much and hide it when I come over.
If you were any food, what food would you be and why?
Some sort of fish that always swims upstream. I like to go against traffic.
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer:
Chardonnay, peanut butter, something to grill
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
Stephen King, Pablo Picasso (we share a birthday), Walt Whitman
