Put a toy in the box: The Imperial Court’s 27th annual Toys For Kids Drive started last week. Donation boxes can be found throughout San Diego, including at The Center, Rich’s, Bacchus House, Bourbon Street, The Flame, Brass Rail and Numbers. Bars will be participating on special nights to promote their box. Go get a toy and put it in the box, unwrapped, so little kiddies everywhere can have holiday cheer.
Champagne, chocolate & red wine: Cuvée wine restaurant has brought back Ladies Night Out, a wine and food tasting at their La Jolla restaurant. For $14, sample an array of champagne, chocolate and big red wines from 5:30-7:30 p.m. No reservations are required to participate. Take a walk: San Diego’s Walkabout International is a nonprofit educational group that promotes walking in urban, suburban and rural environments throughout the world. ‘Comedy Central Live’: Comedians Lewis Black and Dave Attell combine styles in their Comedy Central tour. Black is best known for his commentary on the week’s events on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
