What is currently your favorite restaurant?

Tapenade

Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?

The Braised Veal Cheeks at Tapenade are a wonderful meal.

What is your favorite lunch spot?

Lunch with me is usually on the run… but if I do it’s a deli sandwich. I really like City Deli.

How often do you cook at home?

Three or four nights a week, when I am in town

Do you prefer cooking with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?

The more the merrier. I am an extrovert so I like lots of people around. I put them to work and we all create something together

Name three items that are always in your refrigerator.

Fresh blueberries or raspberries, Gray Poupon mustard, and I also have a variety of tasting sauces that I used for cooking

Name three people, living or dead, whom you would most like to invite for a dinner party.

In her prime I would have liked to have Christine Jorgensen, Marilyn Monroe and Johnny Depp. The four of us would have a hell of a time.
