The Center for Health and Wellbeing is dedicated to the prevention of illness and the achievement of optimal health and total wellness through the integration of traditional and complementary therapies. The center has a simple, holistic wellness philosophy; restore the harmony and balance that keeps your body, mind and spirit healthy.

The Center offers traditional internal medical services in addition to acupuncture, chiropractic care, physical therapy, movement therapies, massage therapy, skin and body care, nutrition and weight management, mind-body programs and energy medicine. The facility is a “one-stop shop” for all your health and beauty needs. By blending conventional medicine with holistic healthcare, the Center for Health and Wellbeing is able to treat causes as well as symptoms. People can start to feel better and healing can be cured at a deeper level.

The center was opened in 1999 by Dr. Janette Gray, a licensed internist and integrative medicine practitioner, and Mary Golden, a 16-year fitness, nutrition and health veteran. They decided to embark on this unique medical business venture to promote health and wellbeing through the body’s natural ability to heal itself. The success and popularity of this integrated model has lead to the opening of their new Hillcrest location slated for January 2004.

The Center donates countless hours to fundraising events to benefit organizations such as the YMCA and Shakti Rising, an innovative recovery program founded that assists young women in overcoming addictions, abuses and disempowerment.
