For Roger Tominello, construction runs in the blood. Born and raised in the bay area, Tominello’s father owned and managed a construction business. As a teenager, Tominello often helped his father in the field. After finishing his Navy service in San Diego, and time spent managing his father’s business, Tominello decided to make the city his home and start a business in roofing. That was 2001. As a straight ally, the GLBT community means a lot to Tominello. Many of Tominello’s clients are GLBT and repeatedly come to him for roofing projects. “They are some of my most loyal customers,” he said.
