What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
Pat and Oscars
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
Pat and Oscars Chicken Cesar Salad. It’s fantastic – the dressing is not too oily or heavy, and the chicken has a unique flavor.
How often do you cook at home?
We barbecue every weekend and generally eat at home a few nights a week.
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Barbecue rib eye steak, with barbecue corn or veggies, and green beans with Craisins.
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
I love all the help I can get, but what’s even better is to let others use my kitchen to showcase their skills!
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
Life is uncertain, eat dessert, especially dark chocolate first!
What is your favorite condiment?
Mayonnaise
If you were any food, what food would you be and why?
Dark chocolate, because it’s smooth, delicious, mysterious and slightly bittersweet, just like life.

Hershey’s with almonds, German beer, low-fat strawberry yogurt
