Germane Maehler has been selling Toyotas for more than 20 years. Half of that time Maehler has spent at Frank Motors Group. Frank Motors Group first opened its doors in 1965. Currently, Frank Motors Group operates Frank Toyota, Frank Hyundai and Frank Scion, all located on the Mile of Cars in National City. As a family owned and operated business, one of Frank Motors Group’s main goals is “to provide excellent products, value and superior service to our customers and the community,” Maehler said. The business has been recognized for various awards including the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in 2003 and as an award finalist in 2008. Maehler has been recognized by Toyota as one of its top 50 U.S. sales associates for 2008.

The people at Frank Motors Group are active in the community. The business concentrates on primary education. Its most popular outreach event is a Christmas luncheon at the Harbor Summit School. Frank Motors Group also works on an annual mural project with Olivewood Elementary School. “We’ve also helped to build homes with Habitat for Humanity in National City and participate in various activities throughout the year,” Maehler said.
