‘Tuna Does Vegas’: Duo Joe Sears and Jaston Williams will perform Tuna Does Vegas at the Balboa Theatre at 8 p.m. Tuna Does Vegas is about the lovable and eccentric characters of the “third smallest town in Texas” as they take a rambling romp into Sin City. Mr. Sears and Mr. Williams depict all the inhabitants of Tuna as well as Vegas showgirls, Elvis impersonators and more. The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows, but everyone in Tuna, Texas, goes along for the ride. The show will be performed again on the following Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased online, over the phone or at the box office. Balboa Theatre is located at 868 Fourth Ave. in Downtown. For more information, call 619-220-8497 or visit www.sandiegotheatres.org.

Things go awry when the school’s two closeted heterosexuals realize their feelings for each other. Heartsville High School’s magical matchmaker, Zanna, comes to their rescue to make the world safe for their love. The play’s final two performances will be on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or over the phone.
