‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’: The Rolando Theatre will host the musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch at 6 p.m. Hedwig is an internationally ignored rock singer who has traveled from Communist Berlin and works in a restaurant band. As Hedwig performs at the restaurant, he shares his memories about growing up as a young German boy named Hansel, migrating to the United States as the fiancé of an American GI Sergeant, about his coerced and failed sex change and his bond with, and later estrangement from, rock-star Tommy Gnosis.
