What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
I purposefully make extra servings at dinner and “brown bag” my lunch with leftovers.
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
Yes! I love Olivetto’s grilled salmon with steamed veggies!
How often do you cook at home?
Pretty much every night, except for Friday’s where you can find me at Rubio’s eating HALF of their grilled veggie burrito on a whole wheat tortilla. It’s 330 calories (for half) and is high in fiber, which sticks with you and keeps those late night munchie cravings at bay!
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Lasagna
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
If I can cook at leisure I love cooking with others, but if I’m in a hurry move aside and let me be one with the kitchen!
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
Keep it healthy and bring on the dessert… once in a while, anyways!
What is your favorite condiment?
Sweet pickle relish
If you were any food, what food would you be and why?
A dark chocolate covered strawberry. It’s healthy (in moderation), beautiful, and sweet.
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer:
Fresh fruit & veggies, greek yogurt and milk
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
My three daughters! I don’t get to see them all together very often but when we get together we always have a lot of laughs!
