Cherie L. Brenner has been a criminal defense attorney for more than 20 years and has handled all types of cases, everything from driving on suspended license to capital death. With more than 40 attorneys in her office, Brenner holds the title for the most cases won in a row (10). She has offices in Orange County, Vista, Encinitas and San Diego.

With more than 200 criminal cases tried, Brenner has the skills and knowledge to represent a client in any kind of criminal case. Brenner is also familiar with the different attorneys and judges. She started her career in law as a government attorney. Brenner is also extremely successful in getting cases dismissed. Due to her trial record, prosecutors know that Brenner will fight for her clients.

Brenner grew up as a TV baby. At five, she began staring in TV commercials. At 18, she got a contract with Columbia Studios. She has starred in such TV shows at “TJ Hooker” and “Happy Days.” Once Brenner graduated from UCLA in Communication, she worked for a local cable station as a reporter in Orange County. When she finished law school, Brenner raised her son as a single mother. She considers it her greatest accomplishment.

Always interested in community issues, Brenner is an involved member of the community. “Our country is way behind its time in the way it treats, not only gays and lesbians, but also women and minorities,” Brenner said. Also, when Brenner believes in something, she takes a stand. “I have always refused to represent defendants charged with hate crimes, even when it risked my job while working as a government attorney,” Brenner said.
