Bob Findle, North Park, Body Electric School, director
Community involvement includes the Body Electric School, which offers workshops for men to connect on a deeper level with themselves and others. An upcoming workshop is happening in San Diego Oct. 17-18. Through the School I give scholarships to those in need of a little help. I’m also involved with the California Men’s Gathering.
What is currently your favorite eatery or lunch spot?
Quizno’s $4 pesto turkey torpedo does the job.
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
The crunchy roll at Ichiban’s is tasty.
How often do you cook at home?
Often. My Italian mama taught me well
What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Anything with multiple flavors.
Do you prefer to cook with others or do you banish all human life from your kitchen?
It is often easier alone, but it is also fun to have others chopping and stirring.
Meat and potatoes, keep it healthy, or bring on dessert?
Healthy with some treats thrown in. Buddha says moderation in the moderation.
What is your favorite condiment?
It is a mix of sesame seeds and sea salt.
If you were any food, what food would you be and why?
A Sara Lee cake. Doesn’t the ad say: “Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee?” Or maybe that’s an Armour hot dog. I can be either.
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator/freezer:
Blueberries, Asiago cheese, soy milk
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party:
Graham Norton because he is so funny, a naked Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter for decoration, and Bill Clinton because I think he’d be fascinating.
