Peak Performance Medical Center is a male clinic specializing in improved sexual performance through testosterone replacement therapy and the treatment of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

The first visit to our office starts with an initial consultation with our doctor, John Gerard, MD that includes a review of the patient’s medical history, a test to determine testosterone level, Doppler/Ultrasound test to measure blood flow and a test to determine medication dosage. This last test allows the doctor to determine what medication is best suited for each patient’s own individual needs. Based on the results of these tests, the doctor will provide a prescription to the patient.

Peak Performance Medical Center also provides the service of filling the prescriptions for our patients. Patients can leave our facility with medication after the first visit and are able to call ahead for refills and pick up medication at their convenience. We even provide the service of modifying the prescription if our patient would prefer a different result than what is being achieved. All these services are included in the initial consultation fee which is currently being offered at only $199.

Dr. Gerard received his undergraduate degree from University of California San Diego’s Revelle College and his medical degree from the University of Miami. He trained as an anesthesiologist before turning his attention to wellness issues. He was on the forefront of hormone replacement therapies for anti-aging and continues to practice in that field. These interests led a natural course to male performance issues and Peak Performance Medical Center.

We opened our doors for business in July of this year and are extremely excited to be a member of the local GLBT community. The owners and members of our staff are looking forward to getting involved through sponsorship and participation in the various organizations that support the community. We are proud to say that we are new members of the Greater San Diego Business Association and we recently participated in City Fest through the sponsorship of a booth. We look forward to becoming even more active in the community and getting to know our neighbors.
