“Joni Moore and the Court have done an incredible job”
Joni Moore and the Court have done an incredible job of fund raising and planning for this years dinner. With so many services like dental, peer advocacy and mental health counseling falling under the budget ax, it was heart warming to see the community pull together to make sure this important event happened.
Thank you all so much.

“Once that property is sold that is the end of the tax break!”
One thing left out on prop 13 is that once that property is sold that is the end of the tax break! How many people do you think own those homes today, and the majority who live in those homes today are elderly and would not be able to handle an increas in property taxes! Maybe we should blame the state politicians and all there spending, and put the blame on them, and not the tax payers!! The only reason for the state shortfall is all the liberal rules, regulations and taxs that force family’s and businesses out of the state!!

“It was lesbian women in the late 1960s who began the ‘battered women’s movement.’”
Something else that is practically unknown is that it was lesbian women in the late 1960s who began what is now known as “the battered women’s movement.” They established informal shelters to help each other when no one else would. The entire issue has been hijacked by political groups with no interest in actually helping victims. It is all about community organizing, funding, and forming coalitions. And very little else.

“The main factor in the failure in gay marriage is the leadership.”
I agree with Dave, but to change what already exisist you will still have a fight! The main factor in the failure in gay marriage is the leadership of those who let there emotions run there agenda, and then they enrole you into beliving your a victim.. Enough with the victim agenda and the word Marrige! Lets join with a strong growing movement to Civil Unions, supported by 87% of Americans. All with out a fight, intollerance and hate of the straight and religious communitys!

“Majority rule matters, no matter how many times you say it doesn’t.”
Majority rule matters, no matter how many times you say it doesn’t. That is key and basic to any democracy. Both the Equal Rights Amendment and Affirmative Action laws were voted down at the polls by a majority of voters. Are Gays any better than women & blacks? Get real.

You’d think miss delores just returned from the front lines in Afganistan! Lighten up
Francis...Your pleas for money have become embarrassingly over dramatic wollowing in victimization and self pity. But it must be paying the bills.
