What is currently your favorite restaurant?
Hash House A Go Go. Great variety, great dishes and presentation. Never fails to impress visitors.
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
Anything from Sushi Ota in Mission Beach. I love sushi, and this is the best around.
What is your favorite lunch spot?
During the work week I bring something to work or I get something from Koo Koo Roo or Baja Fresh. On the weekends I like to meet friends for lunch. We go to The Mission on University, the Big Kitchen in South Park or Brians’. All are good places to relax, catch up with one another and people-watch.
How often do you cook at home?
All the time!
Do you prefer cooking with others or banish all human life from your kitchen?
The more the merrier, although my kitchen can’t accommodate a big crowd.
Name three items that are always in your refrigerator.
Crystal brand hot sauce from Louisiana, Diet Pepsi and — though it’s in the pantry, not the fridge — organic Italian olive oil.
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite for a dinner party.
