What could be more in the spirit of the season than the holiday classic? Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby star as ex-Army buddies who do a show with a sister act (Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen) to save their general’s hotel in Vermont.

Tuesday

An American Idol Christmas on FOX at 9:00 p.m.

As if the season couldn’t get any more merry, Fox brings back some of the “American Idol” favorites to sing the Christmas classics. The show features Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Christina Christian, Justin Guarini, Tamyra Gray and Kimberly Locke.
