Since 1979, Priority Pharmacy has focused on responding to the ever changing needs of our clients. Purchased by MOMS Pharmacy in 2005, Priority, a MOMS Pharmacy continues the tradition of dedication to the care of individuals who are receiving ongoing maintenance medications. Their prescription services support the high-priority treatment needs of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C as well as servicing all clients with medication needs. Their expert pharmacists are available by telephone or e-mail so clients can speak openly and privately about all their medication questions. Client privacy is also a concern at MOMS. Client confidential information is never sold or shared with other companies. They have been setting the industry standards in confidentiality since their first day.

Brandon Patchett, the Pharmacist-in-Charge, graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2001. Since then, Patchett has proudly focused his pharmacy career to the care of clients living with HIV/AIDS. His involvement within the HIV community through connections with HIV/AIDS service organizations, community groups and with local HIV specific physicians and clinics helps him provide the best care to the San Diego HIV community. Patchett and his partner Chris have happily lived in San Diego with their two pugs Molly and Digby since 2002.

MOMS Pharmacy is dedicated to giving back to the HIV/AIDS community. They are a proud sponsor of AIDS Walk San Diego, Mama’s Kitchen, Being Alive San Diego, San Diego Young Positives, Townspeople and other HIV/AIDS organizations in San Diego and around the country. MOMS recently partnered with Being Alive San Diego in opening the Being Alive Learning Center at the pharmacy location. MOMS Pharmacy donated approximately 1400 square feet of its newly expanded space, located at 3940 4th Ave. in the Hillcrest, for the creation of the center. The learning center provides a welcoming and safe space for people living with HIV/AIDS to obtain information on the many valuable programs and services offered by Being Alive, as well as information on other local community HIV/AIDS service organizations. The learning center hosts a variety of HIV/AIDS educational programs and client support groups and provides private office space for one-on-one counseling, treatment education, peer advocacy and community outreach.
