Bella Vista Home and Garden is a home furnishings and accessory store located for more than eight years in the Mission Hills area of San Diego. Store owner Trina Asaro purchased the business in Dec. 2009. Asaro decided it was time to spend her time doing what she really loved: making homes look beautiful. “I have been told that I have a special talent for it,” Asaro said.
Bella Vista offers one-of-a-kind furniture and accessories for every room of the home including mirrors, lamps, and unique furniture pieces, such as coffee tables and side tables. Bella Vista also offers in-home design consultation, custom upholstery and a variety of fabric selections for full window treatments, pillows, slipcovers and bedding. The store’s unique sofas, rugs and other furnishings can also be custom ordered to any customer style.
Many of the store’s furniture and accessories have an old world style to them. The old world style gives homes a touch of what Asaro calls “cozy charm.” “But don’t be fooled into thinking that means old fashion,” Asaro said. “Our designers are known for their style and taste in all designs from traditional to contemporary.”
Besides being a place to decorate and accessorize your home, Bella Vista is a great place to find that special gift for friend, family member or partner. Bella Vista has a beautiful assortment of scented candles, art and pillows.
Every month, Bella Vista spotlights its different department products. For example, April is art sale month. Customers will find price reductions on original oil paintings and antique prints from 15 to 25 percent. Drop by in May for Bella Vista’s garden savings month. During the whole month of May, garden accessories will be on special.
Besides helping local San Diegans with home décor, Asaro volunteers for Casa De Ampario in Oceanside, which houses abused and neglected kids. Asaro helps the organization raise funds with community events such as golf tournaments and the annual Chefs of Del Mar.
