“Auntie Helen’s is a very important part of all of our lives if we know it or not.”
Dear Editor:
It is from my perspective that this again seems to be more “sour grapes” in your editorial.
The person who did the web page for Auntie Helen’s has not worked for them for a few years now. And trust me the washing machines go continually there. I mean really who cares when all who are in need do get their laundry done? A mistake is a mistake.
Hmmmmm, why is it that you didn’t mention the fact that the San Diego City Council designated a day in December 2009 as Mr. Robert Stanley Day?
How can anyone who has not worked at AH in some form or the other have the right to call for everyone to resign?
Mr.Robert Stanley helps all who come into AH with compassion and respect. He never refuses to help anyone in need. Some have Aids, HIV,or are homeless, just out of prison, or just not be able to afford the item, or has been referred to AH, etc., etc..
Also your poll from last week got the same number of votes as the one you mentioned it the above article. Why is that? Have you sided with the ex-employees?
Why must this continue? Life is far too short and there are so many things that individuals can do to help the San Diego community.
Auntie Helen’s is a very important part of all of our lives if we know it or not.
We must help all for we are all part of the Human Race; with love and respect. That is what Auntie Helen’s is all about. Not this insanity.
“There needs a new leadership at Auntie Helens. And also a audit with all of the Grants and Money that AH Has.”
Perfect editorial, Well written and said. There needs a new leadership at Auntie Helens. And also a audit with all of the Grants and Money that AH Has. It seems that Bob Stanley is getting paid well to much , if he does not know what is going on with his Clients. Please don’t let this go aside and forget about it, it needs to be dealt with.
“[A] fraud is a fraud!”
Your editorial says it all - a fraud is a fraud! It is interesting that so many “No” votes were registered from the same IP address. The organization is even incompetent in its laughably transparent campaign to defend itself. As I recall, the organization received a large bequest from the Estate of Joan Kroc. I would think the Attorney General would want to investigate the misuse of her kind donation.
