Since 1992, the Metropolitan Group has been helping San Diego residents find homes in the community.

A small, boutique real estate firm, The Metropolitan Group emphasizes service above quantity. “We try to make ourselves available to our clients seven days a week, mornings to evenings to make sure all transactions go as smoothly as possible,” says Curt Toyer, owner/broker.

Toyer joined The Metropolitan Group in 1998 as transaction coordinator and subsequently purchased the business in 2003.

The Metropolitan Group has 14 agents, including originals Steve Jarian, co-founder; Bob Kubie, co-founder; and James Dolton, who has more than 20 full-time years experience in real estate.

The Metropolitan Group is “very involved” with the community, “collecting food for the San Diego Foodbank and toys for Toys & Tots,” says Toyer. “We also sponsor several evenings a year at the Cygnet Theatre, and have contributed for years to the San Diego LGBT Center.”
