Dear Editor:
I would like to thank and praise San Diego LGBT Pride for organizing a successful rally, parade, and festival this year. The events energized the community, united people in the fight for equality, and inspired a new generation to be “out” and proud.
The San Diego LGBT Pride is a balanced board of directors that is responsive to the community concerns and is financially accountable and transparent in its management. I applaud all your hard work.
The organization has done an outstanding job over the last several months and today deserves to be recognized for its excellent work. Congratulations on a job well done.

Now what shall I feature on the front cover? A cute dog or Kathy Griffin?
Urrmm! Urrmm! Wait, I’ve got it, I think. Urrmm! Yes - the cute dog.
Just thought I would remind us all of the last editor! I mean the dog was cute, but!!!!!
Remember the caliber of editorials. Who could forget this little gem:
“Progress comes with forgiveness, not retribution”
Then the trailblazing “Gay & Lesbian Times’ final endorsements” which followed the hugely popular “My vision.”
Need I say more.
The last editor said he was going to do this, that and goodness knows what else.
What happened- sfa!(sweet f*k all)
This new editor has put her money where her mouth is. We can already see the changes - new columns, more interviews etc. etc.
This editor has made a great start. It is our paper, so let us embrace her ideals and make this great paper even better.
David B. says:
At least this new editor is putting some effort into the paper, unlike the last loser, who clearly did not give a shit. Talk about out of touch!
The paper now has an edge and is improving all the time, with this Pride issue being the best and most complete, yet. This issue is packed with interviews from all of the Pride headliners plus a full commentary section, not to mention the two new regular editorial columns.
Once again, Steve S, your example of a perfectly constructed and well punctuated sentence is appreciated, and is a wonder to us all...
“I mean really where’d they find this one in an after school newsletter program at a local elementary school?”
Pathetic! Yeah,right!
Babe says:
What the diff who is the latest editor? I have yet to read a complete report on the June elections. Leaving this important task to a manipulator like Nicole is like getting your news about the stock market from Fidel Castro! I have a deep-seated feeling that this paper will never be an accurate source of info with the hated Nicole poisoning the well.
