Family Dinner & Movie Night – Family Matters will be hosting a Family Dinner and Movie Night on Friday, July 30th, at Zio’s Restaurant located at 2940 El Cajon Blvd at 4:30 p.m. Buy one adult entrée and beverage and two kids eat free. Summer in the Park - The University Heights Community Development Corporation (UHCDC) will be having its Annual Free Concerts with Len Rainey and the Midnight Players on Friday, July 30th starting at 6 p.m. at the Trolley Barn Park in University Heights. Len Rainey & the Midnight Players is a refreshing band playing the last 20 years in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas clubs. Paula Poundstone – Paula Poundstone will be performing at the Anthology in San Diego on Saturday, July 31st at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. American stand-up comedian Paula Poundstone is well-known for her self-deprecating style and masculine dress sense and has been making audiences laugh for more than 25 years. She even won the American Comedy Award for “Best Female Stand-Up Comic” in 1989. Poundstone labels herself asexual. She stated her asexuality in an interview with the Dallas Voice in June 2007, saying “I’m totally an asexual human being.
