Rich’s Nightclub is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. They also offer a variety of events throughout the week that allows them to accommodate the diverse community. POP Fridays cater to the younger crowd. L.L Bear every third Saturday is San Diego’s biggest Bear event and every Thursday is Lesbian night.

With a list of talented DJ’s and musical artists, Rich’s offers musical variety and entertainers that help make it one of the best spots in San Diego. Nick Moede, owner of Rich’s Nightclub, has lived in San Diego and has been part of the community for 20 years. “I think Hillcrest is a great place and I constantly strive to make Hillcrest better through my business and community involvement.” Stated Moede.

Rich’s Nightclub boasts a hefty variety of community involvement activities and gives back to the community regularly. Rich’s donates to such organizations as AIDS Walk, The Center and the ACLU as well as organizations fighting to repeal ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’

Along with donations, Rich’s hosts fundraisers for varying charities throughout the year. Nick personally volunteers for the Hillcrest Business Association and the Hillcrest Parking Committee. “I also helped organize several of the Prop 8 protests and I will continue to fight for equality.” l
