Well it was only a matter of time before we hit restaurant HELL. All the wonderful places we have been and then WHAM BAM!, we were knocked right on our backsides with the stench and look of this buffet of sewer crap.

THE GREAT WALL Chinese Restaurant in North Park. (The City needs to build a wall around this place to protect the public!)

Upon entering the cheap and sleazy place our stomachs braced for what was being taken in by our eyes and our minds were quickly trying to process the situation. Frank literally had to back away from the buffet and GAG!

Their line up consisted of traditional Chinese food in name only. The so called meat looked like it was something you would see floating in the Tijuana River. If you have lived around here long enough certainly this image or a video clip of the toxic river has made its way into your home during the evening news. Homeless people do not even hang out here for a free meal. Come to think of it, neither do the Tweekers and this also caused us to wonder if cockroaches and rats don’t go near this place.

We thought it would be safe to have rice and orange chicken. WRONG!

As the “food” was being served up in Styrofoam trays our minds reflected on the scenes of massive poverty in third world countries and how people adapt to living conditions which are substandard even for dogs. I guess when you live in poverty, slop is an everyday staple and obviously some people get quite comfortable living in it. Clearly these people love this toxic waste and take great pride in serving it to the public.

Back to the soggy sour orange chicken and smelly rice. This has to be the absolute worst dining experience of our lives. Frank literally had to spit the food out of his mouth! Have you ever witnessed someone nearly vomit while dining at a restaurant? Not a pretty site!

Please know we love bringing you these reviews but if we had to choose every week between places like this, well let’s just say we could find a better tasting hot meal at the DOG PARK!

Speaking of dogs, if you have a pet and live around this area, guard them with your life because we can say, some of that “meat” floating around in the murky liquid of the buffet trays did not look like something human beings should be eating, if you know what we mean.

Our bodies of government should write and pass laws which arrest, convict and punish people who try to kill off the public by serving pure crap like this place does. Certainly this has to be considered attempted manslaughter in some degree. In addition we believe many a medical doctor in the world would be outraged and call for his patient to be admitted into a mental institution for eating here.

Some people might say seasoned attorneys around the city could possibly be successful in putting together a class action law suit for those whose health may have been compromised by eating at this joint. Listen up people, in our opinion THE GREAT WALL CHINESE RESTAURANT is just plain raunchy and we strongly suggest you consider your health and well being before eating here.

This HELL HOLE is located at Texas & University Ave in North Park, who cares what the address is much less the hours!

Unfortunately this place has taken its toll on us and we will only be doing one review this week. PRAY we heal after this horrific experience.
