A cycling accident when she was just 24 led Hillcrest psychologist Jeri Muse to a fascination with the connection between the mind and body.

Following a year-long recovery from major spinal injuries and a previous career as an exercise physiologist, working with people on behavioral health issues, Dr. Muse recognized her calling — psychology. She treats individuals and couples out of her Hillcrest office for a variety of issues such as: anxiety and depression, chronic illness, pain management, relationship enhancement and quality of life issues.

Muse is a clinical psychologist, with a specialty in Health Psychology. She holds expertise in stress related disorders, pain management, biofeedback, chronic illness and trauma related difficulties. Her private practice includes the aforementioned clinical aspects, as well as consultant aspects where she works with companies or individuals on upper extremity pain disorders.

Muse often provides professional seminars on pain management and stress related disorders. Her mind and body specialties embrace the connection between how our emotional and psychological states affect the body and vice versa.
