Flowers by Sean opened Dec. 5, 2003, and is a full service floral and gift shop that can both deliver and do special events. Owner Sean Morton managed a small flower cart in Key West years ago, and his lifelong dream was to go to school and eventually open his own shop. Now he is able to offer the freshest flowers at a competitive price from his new shop, located next door to David’s Coffeehouse in Hillcrest. Flowers by Sean is a one-stop shop that can cater to all of your personal needs with everything from simple flowers to exotics. They can create arrangements for special events and are open seven days a week. Morton, a California native, and his partner of two years, Bobby Mulzet, opened the business with the notion that a special touch can make all the difference.

Flowers by Sean donates to the Gay Men’s Chorus, San Diego Possibilities, St. Paul’s Senior Center and other worthy charities. Both Morton and Mulzet are members of the GSDBA. They see the entire GLBT community as their family and say that they plan to be a part of it for a long time to come.
