Original owners Larry Anhorn and Jerry Parent have returned to FloraStyle after a four-year sojourn. The European-style floral boutique continues to provide exquisite floral arrangements. The store’s mini-makeover includes a new schedule; they are now open seven days a week, and have expanded their home and flower accessories inventory. They are going as far as London, Paris and even Tijuana for their stock! Additionally, the store’s layout has been revamped to accommodate seasonal changes and a more open feel.

FloraStyle is very much an extension of Larry and Jerry’s creativity. Their unique, European-inspired floral arrangements are perfect for all occasions — from a single rose to an entire hotel’s worth of flowers. Other events that FloraStyle specializes in are weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, shows, conventions and any other special occasion! Because of Larry and Jerry’s love of giftware and home accessories, FloraStyle customers will once again have the opportunity to buy more at FloraStyle than just flowers.

The duo opened FloraStyle after the death of Jerry’s mother. Her last words to him were to be sure to stop and smell the roses. Since Larry had been designing floral arrangements since he was nine, a flower boutique seemed like a brilliant idea. They return now with a fresh perspective and a new appreciation for FloraStyle.

Over the years FloraStyle has donated to numerous local organizations such as: The Old Globe Theatre, San Diego Performing Arts League, Stepping Stone, American Lung Association, San Diego Hospice, Gay & Lesbian Community Center activities, Home Tours, Hillcrest Business Association and local schools.
