Community Rx Center is a gay-owned, full service pharmacy with a team of customer care specialists both in San Diego and Palm Springs. They opened their first store in Palm Springs in April 2001 and opened their San Diego location in April 2002.

Community Rx Center offers the best service in town. They listen to their customers and assist with all their insurance needs, as well as the latest information on new medications. They offer free local delivery, overnight delivery and BIA testing, and accept most insurance plans.

Owner Steve Pattison, RPh, has worked in Hillcrest since 1988. With his extensive background in HIV, he has built his business on customer service, knowledge and experience.

On a professional level, Community Rx Center works closely with different organizations and physicians’ offices to meet their patients’ needs. On a personal level, the staff at both stores is dedicated to contributing and being involved with community organizations and events.
