“The Apprentice” on NBC at 9:00 p.m.

The historical events of The Alamo are given the Hollywood tough. The movie chronicles the famous battle that pitted the Texans against the Mexican Army led by Santa Ana, and the days that led up to it.

Ella Enchanted is a fantasy/romantic comedy about a young girl who is cursed with the spell of obedience by a fairy. The film is based on the Newberry Award-winning novel written by Gail Carson Levine.

There is life after “Friends” for Matthew Perry who stars along with Bruce Willis, Natasha Henstridge and Amanda Peet in this follow up to the 2000 hit The Whole Nine Yards. In the sequel, Willis’ gangster character moves to the suburbs to start a new life, and comedic hijinks ensue.

Eliza Cuthbert, who stars on the Emmy Award-winning “24”, hits the big screen in The Girl Next Door. Described as a modern Risky Business, the comedy follows an eager high school student who falls in love with his cute neighbor, only to find out that she is a porn star.
