Richard Tanner’s Executive Face and Body (EFB) has been providing skin care and massage therapy for men for over six years. First opened in 1988, Executive Face and Body initially provided electrolysis but as the demand for waxing, facials and massage for men increased, Tanner expanded his training to keep up with the demands. He has recently added heated stone massage, sports massage and IMD formulations for men.

Tanner has made it his goal to cut through the “mystery and voodoo” of the typical spa treatment, using treatments and products that he uses himself. His Mission Hills office provides a private, quiet and unpretentious space.

Tanner himself is a longtime resident of Mission Hills and is thrilled with the fact that he is able to walk to work. Happily single, he enjoys spending time with his dog and cat, and anyone who has visited his office will note that he loves collecting dachshunds on e-Bay.

Community members will recognize Tanner from the gym, dog park and the various community events that he participates in as well as from his ad that appears weekly in the Gay & Lesbian Times.

“I am very comfortable with who I am and what I do,” he said. “Everyone in the GLBT community can be themselves at EFB. Your comfort and satisfaction are always my goal.”
