“The Opposite Sex” on Showtime at 9:00 p.m.
A new Showtime reality series follows the stories of men and women who undergo sexual reassignment surgery. This week it’s “Renee’s Story”, when a male doctor, who is also a tennis player, undergoes an experimental and dangerous procedure to become a woman.
Wednesday
“Smallville” on The WB at 8:00 p.m.
The homoerotic show gets a little gayer when a Kiwatche Indian steals a mythic knife from the caves and is bestowed with superpowers similar to Clark’s. Lex, of course, is intrigued by the new “superman”.
Thursday
“Friends” on NBC at 8:00 p.m.
The two-hour finale kicks off at 8:00 p.m. with a look at some of the show’s funniest moments; then at 9:00 it’s the final episode of the Must-See TV hit, as the six friends prepare to say goodbye and embark on the next chapters of their lives.

Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
Jim Caviezel stars as legendary golfer Bobby Jones in the biopic Stroke of Genius. The Tiger Woods of his day, Jones won nine majors from 1923 to 1929, captured the coveted Grand Slam in 1930 and retired at the age of 28. Claire Forlani and Malcolm McDowell co-star in the film.
Envy
Jack Black drives Ben Stiller crazy in the comedy film Envy. Black and Stiller play lifelong friends who must come to terms with their relationship after Black’s character becomes filthy rich from selling an invention – a spray that disintegrates dog poop. Stiller’s character’s jealous nature soon causes him to become an overbearing annoyance.
Godsend
Robert De Niro, Greg Kinnear, and Rebecca Romjin-Stamos star in the horror-thriller Godsend. Nick Hamm directs this story about a couple that want to clone their deceased son with the help of an expert in cell regeneration.
