Tara Hollier, president and CEO of Executive Jet Services, possesses a lifetime of experience in the air charter industry. She grew up observing and working for her father’s charter company, which became the largest of its kind in Western Canada.

She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario, one of Canada’s oldest and best universities. From there, she held executive positions in political organizations such as the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association, Member of Parliament and the United World Organization.

Hollier realized her dream of owning an air charter company after moving to California in 2002. Her years in aviation have allowed her to see the changes in air charter and recognize successful and not-so-successful strategies.

At EJS, her mantra is “to exceed customer expectations by providing charter travel in an efficient and affordable manner with a team of experienced professionals.”

To further expand in the industry, Hollier founded Business Flights International, a charter brokerage company with bases in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In 2001, BFI chartered more than 100 flights including some for high-profile clients like former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Never taking success for granted, Hollier’s thoughts are always closely linked to helping others. Through her, EJS supports the Angel Network, which transports children with cancer to various hospitals for treatments nationwide. She is a member of the San Diego chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and has donated her time to fundraising for numerous charity organizations focusing on the homeless, women and children in both the United States and Canada.
